With equity as our purpose, the objectives and vision of the AIA PRWork Plan for 2022 will be focused on the following efforts:

​

  • Harvest inclusion, collaboration and equity in our profession and in our organization.

  • Create channels of direct communication with our membership and highlight the direct contribution of our members in society.

  • Promote our organization as visionary and confident leaders and facilitators in order to sit at the table where decisions are made that affect the future of how we build.

  • Promote entrepreneurship as an integral part of architecture with the purpose of transforming our profession.

  • Communicate the importance of Sustainability and Resilience for our common good and the future of our planet.

  • Enact the power of design in solving our social problems.

  • Use the resources available to us through the AIA National, not only with continuing education opportunities but also by establishing and strengthening our networks and engagement with the National and with the Florida region.

  • Support our associates by sharing our experiences and by creating mentoring opportunities so that they can achieve licensure.

  • Increase our membership by being inclusive and creating active relationships with architecture schools and other professional organizations.

  • Activate membership participation through continuing education programs where current and relevant issues are addressed in harmony with our values.

  • Develop future leaders for our organization.

  • Establish strategic alliances with other related organizations and unions and together create a common front in public policy.

  • Address the issue of talent shortage and together create strategies to attract the great talent that exists in the diaspora.
