“El emplazamiento enamoro al jurado. Lo que lo hace mejor es la arquitectura que añadieron al sitio, donde hay un balance entre el paisajismo y la resolución arquitectónica. La construcción aparenta ser humilde pero sofisticada en sus detalles. Es arquitectura que promete ser atemporal.”

“W-O-W. Wow. Esto era un casa en ruina con un nivel de reto bien elevado, abandonada por un contratista y crea una transformación única. El poder de la transformación es representado en este proyecto. Refleja las destrezas y la importación/relevación de utilizar un arquitecto para transformar algo banal a un espacio que empieza con una mampara que se abre al jardín borrando los límites espaciales entre el interior y el exterior."

"El contraste entre el exterior y el interior crea unos elementos de sorpresa donde ves una percepción amurallado desde afuera y en el interior una percepción de conexión entre elementos básicos como el agua, el sol y el aire. El edificio se convierte en un vehículo a la rehabilitación creando un caparazón de protección que permite a los pacientes concentrarse a su rehabilitación física.”
